Audiofic Archivist Appreciation Meme (#3AM)

#3AM 2

If you too have gained countless hours of enjoyment from Amplificathon, the Audiofic Archive, and other podficcing communities, would you consider dropping by the Audiofic Archivist Appreciation Meme and letting them know how grateful you are for their hard work? Even a sentence of thanks for the archivists who have archived your podfic would make a big difference!

#3AM Master Post

Sherlock BBC Podfic: "Scarlet and Gold," by AfroGeekGoddess

Title: Scarlet and Gold
Author: AfroGeekGoddess
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Rating: Gen
Characters/pairing: Sherlock Holmes and John Watson (hints of Sherlock/John)
Warnings/content: references to blood, suicide
Length: 13:43
Format: MP3, 12.6 MB

Summary: John dreams of scarlet, of snow, of silver. A Reichenbach winter fable. Magical realism.

Reader/author notes: I wrote this fic for cellardoorpodfic as part of a fanworks gift exchange. She asked for a wintry, magical, dream of a story, and this is what I created. The title is taken from The Civil Wars' "Tracks in the Snow," which is the soundtrack and another inspiration for this piece. Aderyn's multiple stories re: birds also served as background inspiration.

Amplificathon 2012: prize podfics!

We like to give podfics as prizes to the Amplificathon winners, but this year we had a low number of winners submitting requests. What we decided to do instead was ask our volunteers to record a number of the requested stories so they could be gifted to *all* the winners (and participants! and anyone reading this, really!) as a collective, instead of to the individuals who requested them.

There's a variety of fandoms represented here, and a variety of readers as well! We hope there's something for everyone. :)

On a final note, your mods would like to sincerely thank everyone who responded to our request and created podfics, covers, and banners for our winners, and also everyone who wanted to but couldn't help. Seriously, we can't thank you enough! *group hug*
