a(nother) podfic artist love meme!

a black microphone on a purple background. text reads another podfic artist love meme, i love it when you read to me

By now, you're all aware of [community profile] pod_aware (and if you're not, go check it out!) Day Five's theme is feedback. What better day to host a love meme?

How does it work?

1. Post your name in a new comment.
2. Go and leave love for others!
3. Grab a banner, make a banner, write a blurb, film an intrepretive dance, but either way, spread the word far and wide.

Anasuno, your podfic are so delightfully funny and dirty in equal measure, I just know it's going to be wicked good when I see you've posted something. One of the most delightfully cracktastic things I've ever heard is that one you did where Eames has to impersonate an angel for work. I laughed out loud at your dryly indignant Eames and your turned-on-but-definitely-not-copping-to-it Arthur! Thanks so much for all your podfic, it brightens my daily bike commute like you wouldn't believe...

I love the level of difficulty and controversial nature of the podfic you choose, in my mind it takes guts to record something that may squick others but that you find compelling. And I think your delivery is so smooth and rich in comprehension, you nail it every time. Your Merlin Story (which I am going to abreviate to "Belly" because I can't remember the full title) was revelatory in its excellence.

I thought In this Era of Liberty was terrific - and while I was trying to remember the name of it, I stopped by the archive and downloaded a few more of your podfic, so looking forward to those..

Have fun! You know I am a big fan of your work, but do you know what else I love? How you beta for and have recorded a lot of the same things as lunchee_munchee! You not only make great podfic, you facilitate others to do so as well...so, go you!

I've been relistening to your "You're Gonna Make It After All", and admire your pacing and clarity. Your rhythm is steady and easy to follow and your voice always comes out clear and comprehensible to me. The first of you I've listened to was "Five Kisses That Were Nearly Good Enough", I think, and I just adore how carefully you read it, slower than most podfics, which makes it perfect for my sluggish days when I just can't comprehend spoken English anymore because most is way too fast.

Awwwww! You make me so happy, Ande. You're awesome. :D I always think back to that dream I had where a bunch of us fangirls were sitting around at a con talking about how great you are; it just seemed like surely that had already happened! ^_^ (OMG BP SQUEE!)

I totally have love for you! I love your voice and your reading so much, and you should have seen me when I was listening to the Shapeshifter podfics--I was literally jumping up and down and grinning like crazy.

You have been such a big influence on me, I've listened to all of you SGA podfics (many of them multiple, multiple times). I love your voice and your style and it's been fun getting to know you better lately.:D

You're totally one of my favourite podfic artists! I love everything of yours I've heard. I don't think I had a chance to leave feedback on 'Untying' but I thought you did a really great job capturing the story's atmosphere, and the ending gave me chills.

If it hadn't been for you recording scads of my Vorkosigan fic I probably would never have listened to any podfic. Now I listen to it all the time and it never fails to improve my day. So thank you!

You podficced Evolving in Circles for me, which I have an unholy love for, especially since there's so little Terminator podfic. Then one day I stumbled across your podfic of Tomorrow's All Wrong and I remember listening to it and thinking your voice was one that kept bringing me all these rare things that I love so much and now I associate it with surprise little presents for me. Which probably sounds weird but there you go. :)

I think the first podfic of yours I listened to was Drastically Redefining Protocol, which I listen to on repeat all the time. And I love how you repodded the Time Shares fics.

I also appreciate so much that we've become friends ♥ You helped me stop being a wall flower that first year I went and I've really enjoyed hanging out with you ever since then.

You are such a lovely person and I genuinely adore your podfic. Your melodious voice and the weight (for lack of better word) that you bring to storytelling is delightful.

And, of course, I like that you record nice porny work as well! :D

I've been trying to decide and I think Pants of Fire is my favorite because it's SUCh an emotional rollercoaster of a story and your recording highlights that without ever taking it over the top.

Thanks for reading me stories!

Thank you! You always leave such great feedback; I appreciate it very much. :)

I'm really glad to hear that my reading of "Untying" worked for you. That story is amazing.
