         For the Pod_Together I got an idea that I wanted to experiment with and PLEASE leave comments and let me know whether you think it works or not. I have no idea whether this has ever been done before or not but this is what it is:

         The words posted are simply the dialogue between the two characters, as if you were a bystander in the same room with them and overhearing the conversation. Also posted are two streaming options to listen to, Sam's POV and Dean's POV. Sam and Dean's POVs contain the conversation but they also have thoughts, feelings, actions, etc. for each character that take place before, during, and after it. Our hope is that you can simply read it, listen to just Sam's POV, listen to just Dean's POV, read/listen to all of it, or any combination and it will still make sense but everything together is what really gives you a complete picture of the events. 

Summary: What if Sam Wesson and Dean Smith weren't simply constructs of Zachariah's? What if they were real people who actually exist? This picks up right after Dean and Sam quit in "It's A Terrible Life" and what would have happened if they were really the people they thought they were..

Yeah the coverart's fine. Did you end up just combining the two POVs and putting them back to back because I'm not sure how I feel about that. At least for the podbook format would it be possible to have them as two separate files in the zip? Also, the pairing is Dean Smith/Sam Wesson, not Dean Winchester/Sam Winchester. In our fic the Winchesters characters and are mentioned but are separate and completely different people than the main pairing.

Yes, I did just have them set as two different chapters of an audiobook. They are now two separate files for the same "album" so they should be paired (but separate) on most audiobook players.

Thank you so much! Sorry, just the whole point of how we recorded it is that you can choose either/or to listen to, not necessarily both so being able to pick a POV to listen to was our intention. It was kind of this whole experimental thing we were playing around with which I'm still not sure if it was actually successful...

That's okay! I'm just the type of person who can't NOT listen to a part of a story if it's available. However, I am ALL ABOUT experimenting and making weird and new ways to enjoy podfic. I like/hate how you didn't include all the text for the fic. It's maddening because I'm a completionist and want all the data. Yet, it's cool because part of the podfic just doesn't exist outside the world of audio. (I hope it's okay that I rec this over at podfic love).

Yes absolutely! The more people that hear it and comment the better because I'm really interested about what people think about it. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Right now atypicaldayoffanfiction is busy with midterms but break is coming up so hopefully we'll have time to write more and actually get into their first case.
