(Sherlock BBC) The Blog of Eugenia Watson, September

Title:
The Blog of Eugenia Watson
Author: [livejournal.com profile] madlorific
Reader: [personal profile] lunchee
Fandom: Sherlock BBC
Pairing: Sherlock Holmes/John Watson
Rating: Gen
Song Credit: Sweet about me by Gabriella Cilmi & Midnight Train to Georgia by Gladys Knight and the Pips
Summary:
I like to think of this not so much as a blog but as the first draft of my inevitably best-selling memoirs. My Life In an Unconventional Family. How unconventional? Well, I live with my divorced parents and my dad's husband. How's that for starters? Trust me, it gets weirder.

My name is Eugenia Watson, but you can call me Genie. I'm sixteen. This is my life.

I am really enjoying this! It sounds like this was almost written to be read aloud, and you're doing such a great job of it.

Hurray!! I'm very, very pleased you are liking it so far. I think I'm coming around to the belief that narratives written in the first person are somewhat frustrating to read, but awesome fun to listen to and perform :)

THANK YOU!

I love your reading-- you perfectly capture that bright teenage ebullience-- and you strike the emotional notes just *mwah* so right-- not too little, not too much-- completely believable. THANK you for doing this!

I know it's been such a long time since you've left this comment anon, but THANK YOU. I really enjoyed bringing a lot of teenager-ness to Genie (but it's been a while since I've been a teen, so it's probably not realistic, ahahah) and I'm so pleased it brought you some joy! Viva Genie, hurray!
