They speak of Snow White and the dwarves that loved her well; they speak of Snow White and the huntsman who could not bear to kill her; they speak of Snow White and the Evil Queen, and expect you to nod along. Snow White, that paragon of virtue, that beautiful, beautiful girl, felled by an apple and saved by a man (and oh, isn’t than an old story).

I just finished listening to "The True Story Of What Was" and you said you'd appreciate feedback so here I am :). I really enjoyed it. I'm not sure how to explain what I liked best but I'll try. I felt like the speed of your reading and the pauses between and within the sentences gave extra weight to the words. It was a style that fitted wonderfully with the fairytale genre as well as the sardonic undertone of the piece. The one critique I have, though that may be a personal problem, was the clarity. The volume can't go up high enough to listen to it on my iPod. It was fine on the computer using speakers though. Not very important but I thought you might want to know. So yeah, anyway, I just really liked the story and your reading of it. It made me smile and I enjoyed the fierce princesses. (btw. Is there a decent synonym for badass? Fierce was the best I could do without swearing... which I have now done anyway). Sorry to ramble. Thank you for the podfic :)
