Author Summary: In which Inara observes that Kaylee's got quite the other woman in her life.

Reader Notes: I did this one for the podfic_bingo challenge of "Try An Accent". It occurred to me that this was constructed in such a way as to lend itself really neatly to a podfic in which Kaylee narrates the first half, and Inara narrates the second half. (Also, I was not going to try to inflict one of my accents on someone else's fic, so another self-pod it is.) Some slight adaptations were made to accommodate Kaylee's voice/accent. :)

I particularly liked your accent for Kaylee in this. I find accents can be quite distracting (even in professional audiofic) but this really worked -- subtle enough to sound natural and not distract from the text, but clearly reminiscent of canon-Kaylee.

I read your podcast transcription on feedback and you mentioned that you were open to critique, so I'll add that I thought it would have been clearer with a bit more of a pause before the Inara section. The difference between the accents was subtle enough (which is good!) that the voices weren't sufficiently distinct for me to work out where the transition was on first hearing. It did mean I had to enjoy the reading twice, to work out what was going on :)
