I've been thinking about the problem of reading stories with both American and English characters; I'm looking forward to listening to you two collaborating. Generally I prefer that Americans not attempt British (and other) accents as few can do so convincingly; it throws me out of the story. Not to say Americans shouldn't READ such stories, mind you, just that, in general, I prefer they stick to their own accent, as do most non-American readers (as far as I can tell, of course).
