I downloaded this story because of rec from the recent Amplirecation. I actually downloaded a heap of stuff but I'm trying to turn over a new leaf and actually provide FEEDBACK, so this is late but that's better than never right?!

So I've never actually read any of lustmordred's stuff and because I just bulk downloaded so much podfic in the last month or so, other than fandom, I didn't really have any idea what the fic was about. Can I say upfront that I LOVED your reading of this story - I've listened to it at least 4 times now and I just keep wanting to go back to the begining and start again! Your reading gave me a real sense of Sam being beaten down, all the bright, sharp edges of him being dull and tired. The story is of course really, really bittersweet and I absolutely got that feeling from the tone of your reading. As I said, I truly enjoyed finding this absolute gem of a story and I'm sure half the pleasure was your interpretation of it! Thanks so much for sharing.
