This is what she had to say on the subject: In my head, the box of soy milk on the top shelf is Tony's, the bagels in the drawer are Bruce's (Steve doesn't keep his bagels in the fridge), and the bag of naan is Clint's. You can't see it, but there's a jar of Reese's peanut butter on the inside of the door that belongs to Natasha, too.).

This is an accidental repod; ou might have seen intransitive posted her own version of this story earlier last week. Which means that we, dear listeners, get to experience the awesomeness of this story twice! :D

Okay, so I'd had exmanhater's recording twice under my belt by the time I listened to this, so it was this fascinating exercise in seeing how you both coaxed out different aspects of the story. I think you really highlighted the emotional drama of the piece; Steve in particular hit home in ways that hadn't quite clicked before. There's so much earnestness and sadness in your reading of him! It's a beautiful, touching recording.

I'm in a weird place about my own podfic right now, and I admire her stuff so much, I think if I listened now I would only hear all the things I wish I'd done differently/better/like her... lol But it's on my iPod! (And I feel slightly weird talking about this here when she's just above us in the post :p HI THERE HI! lol)

That said, I really doubt anyone would want you to listen to their podfic if it were going to make you uncomfortable. You're probably good to be talking about it :)

Not weird, no worries! I do know what you mean about listening to other podfics of stories you've recorded - for me, it can either be really great because I get to just enjoy the story in a way I can't with my own voice, or it can be like, why didn't I think of that!?! I can never figure out how to do special effects or music in a way that satisfies me, and when I hear someone doing it really well I get enormously jealous, for example (it passes, thankfully, lol).

So please don't feel like you have to listen to mine now, or ever, really. Podfic, for me, is about making people (including myself) happy, so if not listening makes you happier, I am ALL for that <3

Yes, exactly! I'm completely sure that at some point in the future, I'll listen to your version and be able to appreciate it for itself, and not in relation to my own insecurities. But yeah, that feeling of jealousy when you listen "as a podficcer" instead of "as a listener" can be a bit unsettling and unpleasant.

I am definitely about making people happy, too! I will let you know about it when I listen, at some point in the future :))
