crossovers were an easy mark for the amplificathon. we were aware going in that they were the fastest way to gain points, and that was fine by us - after all, mega-crossovers are the love-in of fandom. in theory, they can drive interest in new source material from one group to the next, and they also allow people who've moved on to new fandoms a chance to indulge in nostalgia by smooshing their current love/s together with (an) old love/s. or they can just be total ott crack.

the podmod team was actually a little surprised that we didn't wind up with more of these - after all, the challenge of how many possible points you could earn with a single entry was fun (once you worked out the math)(unless the math is the fun part for you)!

cadeira recorded metastasis, which garnered her a whopping thirty-eight points, and won her the case discount award!
