May I ask what your immediate projects are? I'm doing podfic too and recording for bandom, and while it's of course no problem if a story is recorded multiple times, I'm of the opinion that the more ground covered the better! The biggest project I have planned is jjtaylor's "Born to Motorbabies", and I'd also started on airgiodslv's "pregnant fairies" verse when I first decided to record podfic - I'm still hoping to go back and finish that.
Oh, and I wanted to say that although I won't be able to listen to yours for a little while, a 45-minute story for your first time is impressive! :)
