Oh, neither did I--my sister (back when she was still geeky, before she hit puberty...I miss those days) actually discovered it about a year after it was canceled, and promptly went out and bought both seasons on DVD, and we spent a brief period in both of our fannish lives going "OMG ALECCC! ALEC ALEC ALEC! MAX/ALEC! ALECCCCCCCC!!!!" Good times.
