elementals_ao3Posting Chapters 43 and 44 of Force over Distance, cleanwhiteroom's epic completion-fic for Stargate: Universe, read by elementals.
This brilliantly written fic wraps up all the loose threads left when Stargate: Universe was cancelled - without even looking out of breath :P Excellent character work, crisp prose - you couldn't ask for a better story to record as a podfic, and no SGU fan could ask for a better ending to their show.
Not necessarily an SG fan? This story essentially became its own canon, and believe me the writing alone is worth giving it a listen :)
Chapter 43 - the AI succumbs to panic, shutting down Rush's mind, and Young is left to deal with it on his own.
Chapter 44 - Dale Volker's one-shot chapter. Alone on the night shift in the CI room, Volker is interrupted by a very *very* scary Rush...
